about the counsellor
I am a graduate of an accredited psychodynamic counselling course at the University of Cambridge, and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as a registrant of UKRC.

I have varied experience working as a counsellor:
• at a GP practice
• within the outpatient department of a mental health trust
• at a university counselling service
• in private practice
• as an affiliate of employee assistance programmes (EAPs)
• and as a BUPA-recognised therapist
In addition to acknowledging that a sound theoretical training is of the utmost importance, I believe a good working alliance between client and counsellor is essential in order to create an atmosphere of trust in which a client’s insight and growth become possible. I offer a comfortable environment in which clients feel free to be themselves and where they feel listened to without criticism or judgment.
